Christmas Highlight

C3 Kuala Lumpur hosted a Christmas dinner, and we got our red carpet, costumes, wigs (for those who wanted to go the extra mile to look like a certain celebrity) and cameras out and it was fabulous. The organizing team decided to do a Hollywood Theme and it was a good one for people like me who like to dress up. Decor was simple and elegant, complemented by the already well designed interior of the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort ballroom. Guests had to come as a celebrity they want. I went as the always stylish Jennifer Lopez. Although I was portraying JLo, these two looks from Kerry Washington and JLo where both an inspiration for my look.

My hubby <3. He's wearing a jacket from H&M, pants from Zara, shoes and tie from Zalora. I got on affordable Skirt and Top from Zalora, shoes from Charles & Keith. Was happy with both pieces from Zalora
Did a little couples dancing
Got Miss Rey in the building from Star Wars: The Force Awakens (for those of you who don't know)
Just a few tips I believe are useful for anyone planning a theme party;
- Determine your limitations: With a theme party/dinner there are so many ideas to play around with. So know your budget. Figuring out your budget for any event is the first obvious and crucial thing. When you know how much you can spend it makes it easier to plan for your venue and ideas you can incorporate
- DIY decor: Whether you are on a low budget or not DIY (do it yourself) stuff is fun and trendy
Honored to take a pic with Mr Charlie Chaplin
